A zine of poems and illustrations, created and crafted by hand in collaboration with three of my favorite designers, Abby White, Kiera Helquist Runia, and Katie Javadi. The final project included 25 zines, riso-printed on pink and distributed for Galentine’s Day 2025. The project explored girlhood, with writings and drawings attempting to define its sorrowful-yet-sugary existence, discuss how womanhood feels somewhere between divinity and unholiness, undress the nostalgia of freedom, and portray the contradiction of girlish beauty: both natural and contrived; sacred and exploited.
